More than 50 were in attendance for a presentation on the “Ins and Outs of Change Orders,” given by Casey Schellenboom (Andy J. Egan Co., Inc.) and Aileen Liepperandt (Hilger Hammond).

Casey Schellenboom discussed problems with “bad” or incomplete quotes for changes and revisions, and offered a method his company uses to avoid “give-aways.” He also shared sample schedules and worksheets that are available on the ASAM website.

Aileen Liepperandt discussed further aspects of CO’s and displayed sample CO’s (“vanilla” and “banana split”). These samples are also available on the ASAM website. A Q&A session followed, with notes also available on the website.
