“What is a Good Bonding Relationship & How to Manage It”

There were 32 in attendance to hear a presentation titled “What is a Good Bonding Relationship & How to Manage It” featuring Kirt Blizzard of Travelers Insurance and Jon Lunderberg of Buiten & Associates LLC. The presentation began with a brief quiz to help listeners determine how familiar they are with the surety company that issues bonds on their behalf. Questions included: “Do you know the name of the surety company?” and “How often do you meet with a surety company representative?”

Kirt Blizzard and Jon Lunderberg stressed that having a good relationship with your bonding company can keep the two of you on the same page. You should know what you qualify for before you submit a bid request, he said. Why is this so important?
