Construction Advancement Forum: How to Work Better with Architects and Engineers

The July ASAM General Membership meeting featured a Construction Advancement Forum titled “How to Work Better with Architects and Engineers.” The panel of five architects included representatives from five award-winning firms: Nate Golin (C2AE), Neale Bauman (The Design Forum), Jim VanderMolen (Elevate Studio), Greg Metz (Lott3Metz), and Gernot Runschke (GMB).

Introducing the panel, Ben Hammond asked if any of the subcontractors in the audience had ever been working on a project where they found themselves muttering, “I wonder what that architect was thinking.” Wednesday’s meeting provided the opportunity for subcontractors to discover just what those architects are thinking.
