Construction Advancement Forum: Lamar Construction Co.

More than 30 attended the September general membership meeting, a Construction Advancement Forum featuring Lamar Construction Company. The three-member panel was made up of Jason Gibbs, VP of Sales & Marketing; Dan DeJonge, Senior Project Manager; and George Holmes, Executive VP.

Lamar Construction has been in business for more than 74 years. The firm started out of the Holland area doing small residential and religious projects, eventually transitioning into commercial projects. They now specialize in heavy construction, with a satellite office in Lexington, KY, and another just north of Denver, CO. The Kentucky office works mainly with steel, primarily in the auto industry or mining sector. Lamar covers Tennessee, Indiana, and southern Illinois out of that division.
