- Developing programs that expand member knowledge on the processes and expectations of general contractors and construction managers.

ASAM Hard Hat
ASAM partners with Kent Career Technical Center (KCTC) for this education program, which brings students together with professionals for discussion and first-hand exploration, in the classroom and on the jobsite. ASAM members make presentations, lead jobsite/facility tours and conduct job-shadowing visits in this three-part program.
Construction Workforce Development Alliance (CWDA)
ASAM is your voice in the quest to redefine the image of the construction Industry and promote career opportunities to young people. This is the mission of the CWDA, an alliance between ASAM, ABC of West Michigan (Associated Builders and Contractors), and HBA of Greater Grand Rapids (Home Builders Association).
