The American Subcontractors Association of Michigan is proud to present the 2026 West Michigan Construction BIG BUCK Contest!

Timing

The Big Buck contest runs from September 12, 2026 – January 1, 2027. You may enter the contest at any time during this period. Winners will be announced in mid-January.

Entries for the Youth contest (age 13 and below) open on September 12.
Entries for the Adult contests open October 1 (bow hunting) and November 15 (regular firearm).

How to Enter & Scoring

After bagging your buck, make sure to take a picture! Measure the Net Antler score of your deer.
Two entries are allowed per hunter, but only your top buck will be eligible to win.

Eligibility

Persons entering the contest must either be an employee or family member of an ASAM member company. The buck must be taken in Michigan. This contest is open to both Youth and Adults.

Prizes

There are three categories of awards:

Adult (Firearm)
1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $250
3rd Place: $100

Adult (Bow)
1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $250
3rd Place: $100

Youth
1st Place: $150
2nd Place: $100
3rd Place: $75

Submission

Entries to the 2026 ASAM Big Buck Contest will open at 12:01AM on September 12 and stay open until midnight, December 31.
