Mass timber construction brings incredible aesthetic and environmental benefits, but it also introduces unique jobsite safety, rigging, and structural logistics challenges.
Join ASAM and Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. (O-A-K) for an exclusive, member-only safety walk-through of Kalamazoo College’s new residential building.
Led by the O-A-K project team, this walk offers an insider look at how a top-tier general contractor coordinates high-risk activities on a tight campus footprint.
Note: This exclusive event is available to ASAM Members only. Space is limited to maintain site safety and high-quality networking.

What You’ll Gain:

All attendees must bring their own standard gear to access the active site:
- Hard Hat
- High-Visibility Vest/Clothing
- Safety Glasses
- Steel-Toed Work Boots
